I've been out of the loop for a while... oh my. A lot has (not) happened since the last time I checked the blog. I screamed (a little bit), and I think the departmental administrator heard me (also a little bit). She thought better of it than to ask. =/

Hi, Sarah and Rob. I just got caught up on your blog. I'm so sorry things haven't been going smoothly. I also want to say that I think you're doing the best thing you can: rather than simply allowing yourselves to be overwhelmed, you're taking your time to think things through while taking positive steps to make things better. I know it's easier to become discouraged, so I say, good for you!
